CJ Sugita-Jackson, PhD is a Certified Nutritionist, Master Herbalist, Tea Minister, and LGBTQ+ entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in marketing, entertainment, and food & beverage. Visually impaired yet deeply visionary, CJ has built a career blending art, wellness, and storytelling into immersive experiences that inspire connection.

Their current passion project, #Tea4Peace: TranquiliTea Lounge & Apothecary, promotes harmony, mindfulness, and meaningful connection through shared conversations inspired by ancient beverage rituals from around the world. From Chinese Gongfu Cha to Japanese Chado, from spirited Yerba Maté gatherings to the cacao-rooted heart ceremonies of Mesoamerica, and their own creation, Reikon Kajitsu-cha, CJ welcomes all into a circle of peace—one cup at a time.

Through tea ceremonies, tea-based mocktails, and handcrafted apothecary creations, CJ is building a movement that reimagines hospitality as a sanctuary for inclusivity, ritual, and transformation.
